Curruculum Review

Curriculum Review Muirfield High School is conducting a curriculum review Term 1, 2018. The purpose of the review is to evaluate the curriculum and approach to whole school technology to ensure Muirfield's curriculum is rigorous and responsive. EdWeek 2018 - theme and dates announced

This year's Education Week will be held from Monday 6 August to Friday 10 August 2018 (Term 3, Week 3). The theme for Education Week is ‘Today's schools – creating tomorrow's world'. This theme communicates how NSW public schools are equipping young people with the skills and capabilities they need to thrive in a rapidly changing, globalised world. Muirfield High School will hold its annual Open Evening on Thursday 1st March 2018. This is an opportunity to meet the Principal, staff and students, tour the school and discover more about our programs and facilities. Year 7 2019 Band Scholarship Now Open

Muirfield High School has an extensive band program. Our Band Director, Mr Steve Lavis, works closely with our Head Teacher Creative and Performing Arts, Ms Shelley Frame, and passionate parents to ensure successful bands and ensembles for all levels of musicians. Applications are invited for the Band Scholarship for a student in Year 7 2019. Year 7 Gifted and Talented Program

Muirfield High School has a high achievers' class in Year 7. The High Achievers class caters for students who are talented in literacy and numeracy, who process information and new concepts quickly or who are academic high achievers. Applications for the High Achievers Class should be submitted to Muirfield High School's front office by 13 April 2018 using the application form found here.
