Enrolment

Muirfield High School is a comprehensive high school with a strong community spirit. We offer a wide range of subjects, including subjects for academic extension and courses in Vocational Educational. We also offer an extensive array of extra-curricular activities to extend, encourage and interest our students and to ensure they enjoy their time at Muirfield.

Students from outside our drawing area may be considered for enrolment. This is done following the guidelines set by the NSW Department of Education and Training and our Enrolment Policy. Out of area students can only be considered if there is space in that particular year group.

Enrolments for Year 7 from government primary schools are done through the primary school. Please contact your child's primary school. Enrolments for Year 7 from non-government primary schools are done directly to us.

High school expressions of interest

Year 6 into Year 7 enrolments

If your child is currently enrolled in Year 6 in a public primary school, and you wish to apply to enrol in our school in Year 7 of the following year, contact the Year 6 Coordinator at your current school to obtain an "Expression of Interest" form to complete and return to them. The primary school will forward the information to us and we will contact you once a decision has been made about your child's potential enrolment, and next steps.

If your child is currently enrolled in Year 6 in a non-government primary school, and you wish to apply to enrol in our school in Year 7 of the following year, contact us to obtain an "Expression of Interest" form to complete and return to us. We will contact you once a decision has been made about your child's potential enrolment, and next steps.

Year 7 to Year 12 enrolments

If your child is currently enrolled in another public or non-government high school, and you wish to apply to enrol in our school, contact us to obtain an expression of interest form to complete and return to us. We will contact you once a decision has been made about your child's potential enrolment, and next steps.

Temporary visa or visitor visa

If your child has a temporary visa or visitor visa you will first need to apply to enrol by contacting the temporary residents program who will give you forms to bring to the school.

It's important that you tell the principal if your child has any special circumstances, allergies, health or medical conditions, before your child starts school.
